Da Vinci Code Movie Outreach
On May 19th, 2006 Sony Pictures released the
controversial Da Vinci Code movie worldwide. Filled with
controversial statements often presented like facts that contradict
the truth of the New Testament and Christ's divinity, this movie is
also a fantastic murder mystery. With Tom Hanks and Ron Howard
at the controls, many a movie-goer will have his ideas about
Christianity challenged through this film.
However, we can use that curiosity about the history, art and
events to lead people to the truth of the Bible, and its message by
engaging friends and family and our acquaintances with discussion of
what the Bible does teach and what history really shows about Jesus.
